LOTUS

She’s a 1:6th scale doll, sculpted over a wire armature in cold porcelaine.

I’m still working on her eye lashes, I’m going to try and take some photos of how I do them to share with my fellow artists.

Je travaille toujours sur son cils, je vais essayer de prendre quelques photos de la façon dont je les fais partager avec d’autres artistes.

Here is my latest sculpture, my interperation of JACK FROST! hope you enjoy the magic

He is built over a wire armature and is connected to the base by a brass rod. The eyes are pre made by me and inserted during the sculpting process. I tired to make frost coming out of his hand, I’m not totaly satisfied with this attempt but it’s only my 5th attempt with cold porcelain.

Sculpted in polymer clay and painted with genesis heat set paints

I still have the hands and feet to make.

This has been a lovely project so far, working out how to make a bjd is fun, but in cold porcelain it’s

a little tricky, since the clay shrinks on drying and this has to be allowed for with your measurements.

Other wise she is comming along nicely.

I’m currently trying to make a wig for her, but this is also a big learining curve since it’s my first try.

Voici mes dernières figurines de mariage qui ont été sculptés en pâte polymère, en utilisant les photos de mariage comme une référence. Mesurant entre 12 et 15 cm de hauteur elles ont pris environ 40 heures de travail.
Je montrerai étape par étape, les photos des sculptures au cours des prochains jours, partageant certaines de mes techniques en cours de route.

« Autumn in a nutshell »

Cette fée automne  porte un chapeau de coquille de noix. Ses ailes sont faites à partir de graines helecopter et sa socle est faite de feuilles d’automne séchées qui ont été conservés avec de la cire.

Voici un bébé sculpter en puppen fimo sur commande.

Elle mesure 5cm et pèse 10g
